Following the success of International Women’s Day Live at indigo at The O2 in 2026, we’re delighted to be returning in 2027, once again supported by our partners at Virgin Media O2.
Bringing together inspiring women, senior leaders from business and technology, and our valued partners and supporters, the evening will celebrate Street Child’s work to support women and girls globally - combining meaningful conversations, powerful personal stories, and the raising of vital funds to create lasting change.
Last year, we explored the importance of women’s leadership, empowerment and confidence, while shining a light on the barriers girls around the world continue to face in accessing education and building brighter futures. In 2027, we look forward to bringing our community together again to celebrate progress, share inspiration and explore how we can do more to create opportunities for women and girls everywhere.
At Street Child, we believe every child deserves the chance to be safe, in school and learning. Yet for millions of girls around the world, conflict, poverty, displacement, child marriage and discrimination continue to stand in the way of that opportunity.
Working alongside local partners, we support girls to access education, develop the skills and confidence to shape their own futures, and overcome the barriers that hold them back. From supporting girls affected by child marriage in South Sudan to expanding access to STEM education for marginalised girls in Nepal, our work helps turn opportunity into reality.
By coming together this International Women’s Day, we can help more girls access education, realise their potential and become the leaders of tomorrow.
Revisit some of the memorable moments from our 2026 celebration and hear more about the work your support makes possible.
