Our 2024/25 Annual Report highlights a year of driving change at scale.
Street Child supported 458,838 children this year, taking our total impact to over 1.6 million since inception. Behind these numbers are stories of resilience: classrooms rebuilt after Cyclone Chido in Mozambique, thousands of out-of-school children in West Africa taking their first steps into education, and transformative learning gains for children in Somalia and Somaliland through our Teaching at the Right Level programme.
We achieved this in a year of enormous challenge. Global aid cuts and escalating crises made progress harder than ever, but they also sharpened our focus. Street Child doubled down on what works: lean, cost-effective programmes, bold partnerships and a deep commitment to local leadership. This includes through our continued role in the governance of Education Cannot Wait – the global fund for education in emergencies.
