We can't thank you enough for your support of our Christmas appeal, highlighted in The Times & Sunday Times and supported by match funders including the UK government. We are grateful for every donation made, article read, and social media post shared, which helped us raise more than £1.4 million in just over eight weeks!
We couldn't have done this without you. Your generosity, coupled with the support from our match funders, will have a massive impact for marginalised children and their families around the world. With these funds, we could:
Send 14,000 girls in Afghanistan to primary school for one year, providing them with fundamental literacy and numeracy skills;
Pay for 2,800 teachers in a refugee settlement in Uganda for one term, reaching thousands of students with vital education they otherwise wouldn't have accessed; or
Build over 900 classrooms in rural Sierra Leone, ensuring generations of marginalised children can go to school and learn.
Together, we are changing the lives of generations to come, helping break the cycle of poverty and ensure all children can access their right to education. Once again, a massive thank you for your support!
