Street Child were delighted to welcome over 250 guests to the Pan Pacific London to celebrate Street Child's work and ensure that no child living in crisis is forgotten. Guests enjoyed a three course meal and an open bar while listening to a live Jazz band.
Guests heard from inspiring speakers including Street Child's head of Africa Programmes, Megan Lees McCowan, Richard Riakporhe Street Child's latest partner and Street Child's CEO and Founder Tom Dannatt. The whole evening was hosted by Street Child trustee Julia Streets.
Inspired by the evenings guest speakers and impact videos from Bangladesh and Nigeria, guests rallied behind Street Child, bidding on the auction, buying wads of raffle tickets or making pledges to street Child's new multiplier fund. The generous donations made are all going towards ensuring that children are safe, in school and learning - even, and especially, in low-resource environments and emergencies.
