This Christmas, give the gift

that lasts all year

Give the Gift of Education

Do you remember what you got for Christmas last year? Novelty mug? Socks with Rudolph’s face? They’re fun, but what if this year’s gift could be something truly lasting? This Christmas, give a gift that lasts all year by supporting a child’s education for just £4 a month.

For millions of children, education is the key to a brighter future—a gift that keeps giving long after the wrapping paper is gone. With your monthly support, children will have the chance to learn, grow, and build lives filled with opportunity.

Join us this Christmas in opening doors to education. Your generosity will change lives, not just for a day, but for years to come.

The gift of education in Cameroon

Ongoing violence has kept hundreds of thousands of children out of school over the past seven years, but this year, with your help, we are enabling over 7,000 children to return to education.

This includes 6-year-old Ketty Hamadou*, whose family struggled after their mother passed away from cancer. With their father unable to afford school fees, Ketty and her siblings were out of school.

Through our partnership with the Saika Elisabeth Foundation (SELF), Street Child enrolled the children in school and provided their father with business training to ensure he could sustain their education long-term.

"My children will go to school again," he says. "Truly all hope is not lost. I weep every day when I look at my children every morning and they kept asking me: 'Papa when are we going back to school?' And often, I tried to hide my tears from them. Now I will confidently tell them you are going back to school.”
